Welcome

Doreen Lutz Artists is managing and supporting a select group of internationally renowned artists, building upon many years of experience in artist management.

Each artist has an outstanding profile and is an expert in music from the 20th/21st century and to some extent also in early music. Their curiosity for new works and performances leads to improvisation with jazz elements, innovative projects and programmes, and new compositions being commissioned.

Doreen Lutz Artists focuses on providing tailor-made and strategic support to artists with their individual profiles and the personal exchange with promoting partners.

Please get in touch with us if you are interested in any of the artists we represent. We look forward to hearing from you!

Anu Komsi: Ensemble Intercontemporain
On 5 June 2026, the soprano Anu Komsi will sing again in concert with the Ensemble intercontemporain Paris, this time she will perform György Kurtág’s Messages of the Late Miss R.V. Troussova op. 17 under the baton of the artistic leader Pierre Bleuse at the Cité de la musique Paris. Further works in the concert programme will be the French premieres of Isabel Mundry‘s The I's for voice, ensemble and electronics with the mezzo-soprano Hélène Fauchère and of Márton Illés‘ Four skEtches for ensemble and electronics as well as the world premiere of a new composition by Tobias Feierabend for flute (Emmanuelle Ophèle). IRCAM (Carlo Laurenzi & Augustin Muller) will be responsible for the realization of the electronics. Anu Komsi has already performed with the Ensemble Intercontemporain to great acclaim, interpreting György Kurtág’s Songs to Poems by Anna Akhmatova at the Festival Warsaw Autumn 2013.
Sarah Maria Sun: KunstFestspiele
On 26 May 2026, the soprano Sarah Maria Sun will perform a recital together with her trio at the invitation of the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen at the Orangerie Herrenhausen. Together with Jan Philip Schulze (piano) and Kilian Herold (clarinet) she will present her latest Dramedy-Album Silence is Golden in an entertaining concert full of subtle irony. The programme combines humor, passion and virtuosity no matter the musical genre. Romantic repertoire meets Broadway and avantgarde music. Songs like Franz Schubert‘s Der Hirt auf dem Felsen, Thierry Tidrow‘s Die Flamme, George Gershwin‘s The man I love, Leonard Bernstein‘s What a movie from Trouble in Tahiti, Gustav Mahler‘s Lieder from Des Knaben Wunderhorn and György Ligeti’s Mysteries of the macabre demonstrate the wide spectrum of this trio’s artistry.
Sarah S. & Holger F.: AMOPERA in Katowice
On 17 May 2026, the soprano Sarah Maria Sun and the baritone Holger Falk will present the Polish premiere of the meta-opera AMOPERA at the Katowice Culture Nature Festival - NOSPR Concert Hall in Katowice. This outstanding production brought on stage by the Klangforum Wien (direction: Tim Anderson) and the Needcompany (staging: Jan Lauwers) already has been premiered and performed in Erl, Wien, Hong Kong, South Korea and Bolzano to great acclaim. This meta-opera intertwines excerpts of works by Luciano Berio, Sir Harrison Birtwistle, Alexander Zemlinsky, Alban Berg, Benjamin Britten, Peter Maxwell Davis, Iannis Xenakis, Salvatore Sciarrino, Bernhard Lang, Beat Furrer, Rebecca Saunders, Michael Wertmüller and Sara Glojnarić resulting into an impressive music-theatrical evening. Opera Now states enthusiastically: At the heart of this are soprano Sarah Maria Sun and baritone Holger Falk, who, throughout the evening, morph into a multitude of characters, personalities, and distorted characters - both physically and vocally. (...) While it is certainly a team effort, the success of this production lies in how Sarah Maria Sun and Falk have enigmatically embraced the material. They are our conduit into this world, and it would be very easy to feel alienated if they didn't possess the stage presence to sell it.
Sofia Jernberg: Premiere “The Day Before”
On 16 May 2026 the vocal artist Sofia Jernberg will perform the world premiere of Brigitta Muntendorf’s scenic production The day before at the Odeon Wien presented by the Wiener Festwochen. Further performances in Vienna will take place on 17/18 May 2026 and the German premiere will be scheduled on 23/24 May 2026 at the DHC-Halle by the coproducer KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen Hannover. Performers on stage next to Sofia Jernberg will be: Aduni Guedes, Margaux Marielle-Trehoüart, Les Percussions de Strasbourg and the Landesjugendchor Wien/Mädchenchor Hannover. The costumes are designed by Fauve Ryckebusch. „A party, maybe the last party before the war: In an immersive performance space, the audience forms a community of fate together with two performers, percussionists and a choir of young women. French philosopher Simone Weil already tackled Homer’s Iliad – the original myth of violence in war – in 1940, analysing the dynamics and mechanisms of incessant warring. Her thoughts have inspired the Austrian/Brazilian/Spanish trio Brigitta Muntendorf (composition), Christiane Jatahy (director) and Rosa Montero (text), who respond to Homer’s epic with a contemporary feminist position. Enter a 3D audio setting amidst live performance and camera footage to celebrate together – on the edge of the abyss.”
