Doreen Lutz Artists is managing and supporting a select group of internationally renowned artists, building upon many years of experience in artist management.

Each artist has an outstanding profile and is an expert in music from the 20th/21st century and to some extent also in early music. Their curiosity for new works and performances leads to improvisation with jazz elements, innovative projects and programmes, and new compositions being commissioned.

Doreen Lutz Artists focuses on providing tailor-made and strategic support to artists with their individual profiles and the personal exchange with promoting partners.

Tora Augestad – New Year Concerts
In January, the mezzo-soprano Tora Augestad will sing New Year’s concerts in Norway and Sweden: On 6 Januar 2024, she will present a musical celebration evening to greet the new year at the Tromsø Kulturhus and on 7 January 2024 at the Stormen Konserthus Bodø. At the Arctic Philharmonic’s invitation, she will perform Lieder and songs from Kurt Weill’s Seven Deadly Sins and Marcus Paus’ Hate Songs. The concerts will be led by conductor Johannes Gustavsson and the soloists Adrian Angelico (mezzo-soprano), Hamida Kristoffersen (soprano) and Per Sundnes (host) will join.
Juliana Zara – role debut as Adina
On 9 December 2023 soprano Juliana Zara performs for the first time the role of Adina in Gaetano Donizetti‘s L’elisir d’amore on the stage of the Staatstheater Darmstadt. With this debut, she will add another main role of her Fach to her repertoire list and demonstrates once again her stage presence and vocal quality.
Vanessa Porter – debut at De Bijloke Gent
The percussionist Vanessa Porter will be making her debut on 30 November 2023 at the De Bijloke Muziekcentrum in Gent presenting her solo-programme Dust. Once again, she can demonstrate her versatility and impressive stage presence: the heart of the evening is Rebecca Saunder’s composition Dust. Vanessa Porter will be combining this piece with Thierry De Mey’s Silence must be, Emil Kuyumcuyan’s Last Duty, Georges Aphergis’ Le corps a corps, Augusta Read Thomas’ Enchanted Invocation and Michio Kitazume’s Side by Side, performing a versatile and fascinating programme.
Holger Falk – Opera premiere in Düsseldorf
On 3 December 2023 the baritone Holger Falk will sing the world premiere of the new opera Septembersonate by composer Manfred Trojahn at the Opernhaus Düsseldorf and will make his debut at this renowned opera house. The chamber play in 6 scenes is based on the text by the composer freely adapted from the story The Jolly Corner by Henry James. Already in 2019, Holger Falk premiered Trojahn‘s Monodrama Ein Brief successfully at the Bonn Opera and is now looking forward to this new cooperation with the composer. In Düsseldorf, Vitali Alekseenok will conduct the Düsseldorf Symphony and Johannes Erath is responsible for the stage direction. Holger Falk‘s partner on stage will be the soprano Juliane Banse. Further performance dates are: 9/14/29 December 2023 and 3/14/27 January 2024.
