Welcome

Doreen Lutz Artists is managing and supporting a select group of internationally renowned artists, building upon many years of experience in artist management.

Each artist has an outstanding profile and is an expert in music from the 20th/21st century and to some extent also in early music. Their curiosity for new works and performances leads to improvisation with jazz elements, innovative projects and programmes, and new compositions being commissioned.

Doreen Lutz Artists focuses on providing tailor-made and strategic support to artists with their individual profiles and the personal exchange with promoting partners.

Please get in touch with us if you are interested in any of the artists we represent. We look forward to hearing from you!

Vanessa Porter: World Premieres at ECLAT
On 6 February 2026 the percussionist Vanessa Porter will perform the world premiere of Éndropía by Samir Odeh-Tamimi for solo percussion, live-electronic and live-video at the invitation of Eclat Festival at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart. Andrei Cucu will be the responsible for the sound direction. In thermodynamics, entropy describes the disorder or degree of ignorance in a system. In artistic processes, it is significant for the balance between structure and dissolution, order and chaos. These contrasting elements converge in εντροπία to form a polyrhythmic, multisensory performance.

Sarah Maria Sun: HEAR IT COMING
On 5 February 2026, the soprano Sarah Maria Sun will interpret the world premiere of Andreas Eduardo Frank's HEAR IT COMING at the ECLAT Festivals at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart. This multimedia performance and installation is realized by Thomas Giger (szenography) and the SWR Experimentalstudio (live-electronics). Further musicians will be Andreas Eduardo Frank (synthesizer), Uli Fussenegger (double bass), Jeanne Larrouturou (percussion) and Marcus Weiss (saxophone). There is no sweet spot, no place of optimal listening, in this piece. This is because the speaker system suspended above the audience’s heads, developed by Andreas Eduardo Frank in collaboration with the Experimentalstudio, uses the sounds and movements of the musicians and the audience to create »acoustic beings and sound sculptures,« a constantly changing acoustic body that unfolds, wanders, and transforms itself plastically in space. In Hear It Coming, the individual moves away from the center of perception. The focus is on an intense collective listening situation, a recalibration of the senses.

Sarah Defrise: World Premiere by Neuwirth
On 1 February 2026 the soprano Sarah Defrise will make her debut at the Hamburgische Staatsoper in the world premiere of Olga Neuwirth’s new opera Monster's Paradise in the libretto by Elfriede Jelinek. She will perform the role of Vampi in this brand-new political grotesque, staged by artistic director Tobias Kratzer as a contemporary Grand Guignol. Other performance dates are also scheduled on 4/8/11/13/15 February 2026. Titus Engel will conduct the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg, and Rainer Sellmaier will create the set and costumes. Further soloists include Anna Clementi (Gorgonzilla), Georg Nigl (King/President), Sylvie Rohrer (Vampi-actress), Ruth Rosenfeld (Bampi-actress), Kristina Stanek (Bampi), Andrew Watts (Mickey). This world premiere is a co-production with the Opernhaus Zürich and the Oper Graz. As avatars of themselves, composer Olga Neuwirth and the writer Elfriede Jelinek send two “vampiresses” on a journey around the world. They observe the decline of humanity while a tyrannical king and a sea monster he has conjured up himself fight for power. All hope rests on him: the great Gorgonzilla. But what kind of world is it that can only be saved by monsters?
