Welcome

Doreen Lutz Artists is managing and supporting a select group of internationally renowned artists, building upon many years of experience in artist management.

Each artist has an outstanding profile and is an expert in music from the 20th/21st century and to some extent also in early music. Their curiosity for new works and performances leads to improvisation with jazz elements, innovative projects and programmes, and new compositions being commissioned.

Doreen Lutz Artists focuses on providing tailor-made and strategic support to artists with their individual profiles and the personal exchange with promoting partners.

Please get in touch with us if you are interested in any of the artists we represent. We look forward to hearing from you!

Sofia Jernberg at the Wiener Festwochen
On 8 June 2024 vocal artist Sofia Jernberg will be performing at the Wiener Festwochen / ORF Radiokulturhaus. She will interpret Where We Lost Our Shadows – written by New York based Pulitzer-Prize winning composer Du Yun. Musical partners on stage will be the Klangforum Wien, Shayna Dunckelman (percussion) and vocalist Ali Sethi. The Palestine film maker Khaled Jarrar has created the video of this multimedia performance. Where We Lost Our Shadows is a piece for orchestra, video and soloists that addresses human migration as a question of permanent movement and exodus that recurs over the course of history and passes on collective as well as individual traumas from generation to generation. It has been premiered at the Kennedy Center Washington in 2019. Sofia Jernberg fascinated the Festwochen audience already in 2021 with her interpretation of Pierrot Lunaire – together with the Klangforum Wien, in Marlene Monteiro Freitas’ staging – as well as in 2022 singing Hymnes and Laments.
