Doreen Lutz Artists is managing and supporting a select group of internationally renowned artists, building upon many years of experience in artist management.

Each artist has an outstanding profile and is an expert in music from the 20th/21st century and to some extent also in early music. Their curiosity for new works and performances leads to improvisation with jazz elements, innovative projects and programmes, and new compositions being commissioned.

Doreen Lutz Artists focuses on providing tailor-made and strategic support to artists with their individual profiles and the personal exchange with promoting partners.

Anu Komsi: Debut at La Monnaie
On 5 May 2026, the soprano Anu Komsi will make her debut at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie/ De Munt in Brussels performing the role of High Priestess in the world premiere of Iain Bell’s opera Medusa. The production will also be presented on 7/9/12/15/17/19 May 2026 at La Monnaie and will be directed by Lydia Steier, teaming up with Flurin Borg Madsen for set design and Katharina Schlipf for costume design. Michiel Delanghe will lead the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. The main role will be sung by Claudia Boyle and further colleagues on stage will be Angela Denoke (Stheno), Josh Lovelli (Perseus), Paula Murrihy (Euryale), Konstantin Gorny (Poseidon), Mary Elisabeth Williams (Athena) and Marie-Juliette Ghazarian (Danaë). Medusa, the iconic figure in Greek mythology, has inspired Iain Bell to this new opera, which will also be livestreamed at OperaVision on 15 May 2026. 
F. Brillembourg: Premiere in Luxembourg
On 23/24 April 2026 the mezzo-soprano Fredrika Brillembourg will perform the world premiere of Tim Wollmann’s and Antoine Pohu’s: pOpera at the Philharmonie Luxembourg (Grand Auditorium). Ivan Boumans will lead the Luxembourg Philharmonic, the Community Choir, the Pueri Cantores du Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg and the Chœur de l’école CLI Adam Roberti. This Comunity Opera has been commissioned and financed by the Fondation EME. Anisha Bondy will arrange the staging and Mariana Pinto de Souza the choreography. Further soloists will be Stephany Ortega (Julia) and Johannes Bamberger (Romeo) among others. Reflecting Luxembourg’s rich cultural melting pot, the opera will feature multiple languages, thus reflecting the many voices that make up a community. The result will be a truly immersive and participatory experience!
Sofia Jernberg: Debuts Dortmund & Witten
On 22 April 2026 the vocal artist Sofia Jernberg will make her debut at the Konzerthaus Dortmund in the series Portraitkonzerte Perlentaucher. In this concert she will be demonstrating „Everything a voice can do: from Minimal Music over Jazz to New Music“ and will perform her solo piece One pitch: Birds for distortion and mouth synthesizers, Julius Eastman’s Prelude to the Holy Presence of Joan d’Arc and excerpts from Morton Feldman’s Three Voices. Together with pianist Alexander Hawkins she will also present songs from their album Musho, including Adwa (trad. Ethiopian), Mannelig (trad. Swedish), Groung (trad. Armenian), Sofia Jernberg Correct behaviour and Willow, Willow (trad. English).On 26 April 2026 she will make her first appearance at the Wittener Tage für Neue Kammermusik singing the world premiere of version I of Chaya Czernowin’s No! A Lament for the Innocent with the WDR Sinfonieorchester directed by Yalda Zamani in the festival’s final concert. Further pieces of the programme will be Øvind Torvund’s Two Pieces (world premiere) and Dai Fujikura’s Ritual (German premiere). The concert will be recorded by the WDR and subsequently be broadcast on WDR 3.
Anna-Lena Elbert: Concerts with Kremer
On 13 April 2026, the soprano Anna-Lena Elbert will sing in concert with the Gidon Kremer Trio in Dmitri Shostakovich’s Seven Romances on poems by Alexander Blok for soprano, violin, cello and piano op. 127 at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi Milano in the well-known series Serate Musicali. The trio’s musicians are Gidon Kremer (violin), Giedrė Dirvanauskaitė (cello) and Georgijs Osokins (piano). The concert programme will also present Arvo Pärt’s Für Alina and L. v. Beethoven’s Piano Trio No. 7 in B flat major, Op. 97. Further concerts are scheduled on 16 April 2026 at the Teatro Comunale Monfalcone and on 21 April 2026 at the Aula Magna della Sapienza Università di Roma. This will be Anna-Lena Elbert‘s first cooperation with Gidon Kremer.
